Private Utility Locator (Union Position)

After initial training is completed, the Private Utility Locator/SUE Field Technician will be working under the direction of a Field Manager and is assigned to worksites to conduct utility locating for surface, subsurface, and aerial utilities and structures. Private Utility Locators/SUE Technicians are responsible for the correct, safe, and efficient locating of underground utilities including, but not limited to, telecommunications, electric, power, cable TV, gas, water, and sewer systems. This includes taking time to thoroughly search for underground utilities in an area, properly marking the location, and completing all necessary paperwork in accordance with company guidelines.

Hydrovac Operator (Union Position)

We are currently looking for Class A/B drivers to be a Hydrovac Operator. The Hydrovac Operator is responsible for the successful completion of hydro excavation processes. Our drivers are responsible for safely operating the truck and providing prompt, courteous, and complete hydrovac excavation services for customers. In addition, an equipment operator is responsible for ensuring his or her vehicle is in compliance with the GroundBreakers inspection safety standards prior to operating the vehicle; ensuring that all GroundBreakers, state, and federal regulations are adhered to at all times while operating the vehicle; and completing Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports (“DVIRs”) on a daily basis to ensure that any vehicle defects are repaired in a timely manner.
